... trumpeter , composer,and clinician . has performed with Tony Bennett , Sammy Davis Jr., The Temptations , The Four Tops , Johnny Mathis , Nancy Wilson, Johnny Carson , Don Rickels , Regis Philbin , The Rat Pack , HBO's The Soprano's , Jon Faddis , Bobby Shew , Burt Bacharach , Gladys Knight , etc...has arranged and conducted for Count Basie , Dizzy Gillespie and others....he is a member of ASCAP and a voting member of The Grammy Association..performing in the Phila. / AC area performing with The Jazz Celebration Big Band ,The John Clark Band ,The Clef Club Big Band ,The Midnight Sun Big Band , The Big Horn Maynard Band , the Atlantic City Casinos and The Joe Cataldo Big Band ... Joe is very active in Jazz education and does clinics , adjudicating , and guest soloist appearances at many Jazz Festivals ....has been selected as guest conductor for the New Jersey Jazz Educators Association while also being recognized by the City of Philadelphia and receiving A Music Ambassador Award for work on " The Sound of Philadelphia " and performances with the groups MFSB , Montana ,Salsoul ,Philadelphia International and Sigma Sound Studios ..currently writing and performing with Tenor James Gafgen , performing with John Vanore and Abstract Truth , The Jazz Celebration Orchestra , The Big Horn Band , and Three Tenors and a Diva
